This is a moving, true life, story about Dodger Dog who goes from being abandoned to finding his forever home. It is well written and beautifully illustrated. Working as a volunteer with a dog rescue in Spain this was so pertinent to me and I was very moved by this little dog`s story. Wonderful educational book for children to enjoy.

For me (Dad) Dodgers story reminds me so much of our lovely Lola a Staffie cross now in her forever home! What a lovely story with lovely illustrations.

I brought this book for my youngest daughter who is animal crazy, she absolutely loves it! I'm also a childminder and have read it several times to the 3 boys I care for who all love the doggy book. Can't wait for the next one in the series
